dogeats.in ("we", "us", "our") is a source-verified dog food guide for India. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we use it.

Automatically collected: Standard web-server access logs (IP address, user-agent, referring URL, pages visited) held by our hosting provider Vercel for security and diagnostics. Cookie-free analytics may aggregate page-view counts.

You provide: If you email us at hello@dogeats.in or use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message.

What we do not collect: We do not sell personal data. We do not run behavioural ad networks on the site. We do not require accounts or logins.

2. Cookies

dogeats.in does not set third-party marketing cookies. First-party cookies, if any, are limited to remembering interface preferences (light/dark, accepted safety-info notice). You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time without affecting core functionality.

We use Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (DNS), and standard indexing pings to Google, Bing, Yandex and Naver. External links to AKC, ASPCA, Merck Veterinary Manual, VCA and other sources leave dogeats.in and are governed by their own policies.

5. Data retention & your rights

Access logs are retained for up to 30 days for security. Email correspondence is retained until it is no longer needed. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you by writing to hello@dogeats.in.

6. Children

The site is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
